HOW WE CAME TO BE
Founded in 2020 by recent graduate Emily, thenorthersilverco. is a small independent silversmiths in the heart of Northumberland focussing on sustainability while crafting bespoke pieces finished to the highest quality. Our small home workshop allows us to offer a made-to-order service meaning everything you buy from us is bespoke and made just for you. The processes used at thenorthernsilverco. are varied and consist of many ancient techniques, such as granulation and ingot casting, alongside newer and self-developed techniques. Our designs are inspired by the metal's natural forms with added pops of colour from the seaglass and stones that we sustainably source from local UK businesses.

EVERYTHING STARTS WITH SUSTAINABILITY
The quality of the materials we use is paramount. We use only 100% recycled Ecosilver and 9ct recycled gold or recycled silver/ gold melted from offcuts we produce. We only use sustainably sourced semi-precious gemstones. Where possible, we source our materials from local companies within the UK. Every single piece is made to order with care and attention to detail. Should you want to alter our existing designs, you can use our bespoke service. However, we always try and bring out new designs so that there is something for everyone here at thenorthernsilverco. FINISHED TO A BEAUTIFUL STANDARD
Everything we produce will be polished to a beautiful shine unless you prefer a brushed finish. Each piece is lovingly packed in sustainable but quality packaging just for you. Every piece of packaging can be recycled, and most of it is made from recycled materials.
