PERSONALISED JEWELLERY

Any jewellery that has been personalised or custom made cannot be returned or exchanged since it is an individual, bespoke piece of jewellery. When ordering the piece, we ask that you confirm your wording and sizing are correct as mistakes cannot be rectified afterwards. Please be aware that these are hand stamped, so there may be imperfections.

 

CUSTOMS CHARGES

International customers may be asked to pay customs charges. This is the customers responsibility and by purchasing from thenorthernsilverco. you are agreeing to pay these additional charges.

CARE 

It is not recommended that you wear your jewellery when playing sports, sleeping or swimming. Avoid contact with creams, perfume and make-up and other cosmetics. Avoid playing with the jewellery like trying to wobble stones and running charms along chains this will wear out the silver. Solvents, bleaches, household chemicals and cleaning products can also tarnish silver.

Be especially careful to protect the stones scrapes and knocks, as semi-precious can crack or chip depending on their hardness. These cannot be resized once worn. 

​

Bezel set stones must be cleaned gently with dish soap as this removes debris from beneath the stones.

​

Do not fully submerse any jewellery with seaglass or stones as water can get into the bezel and loosen the fine silver around the stone.

​

Silver jewellery will naturally tarnish over time. When you are not wearing your piece, store your jewellery separately so that it doesn’t get scratched or tangled. We recommend storing your jewellery out of direct sunlight in its original packaging which includes acid free tissue paper which can help minimise tarnishing.

Do not attempt to reshape or bend bangles or rings - this causes stress cracks which cannot be repaired.
